Oil Tank Installations
When new tanks are installed or existing oil tanks will be replaced, they must be done to the current building regulations and signed off. Therefore, you will receive paperwork showing your oil tank has been installed correctly. This will be required if you come to sell your property.
Site Visits & Full Surveys
We usually come to the site and do a full site survey. Our engineers will discuss with you all the options, and we can quote you on both plastic and steel tanks. Most sites are required to fit a bunded tank, but we can advise you on this.
We are happy to do as much or as little of the work as you want. We can do the whole job for you. Therefore, from digging the base for the new oil tank and oil line etc., we are happy for you to do the base work yourself as long as it is up to the required standard.
Oil Tank Removal
If we replace an existing oil tank, we will always remove the old tank from the site and dispose of it at a licensed recycler under our waste carrier’s license.
Most of our installations are completed in a day. However, we will never leave you without heating if they take longer.
We are proud members of the Lancashire County Council Safe Trader Scheme. We have also just received an award from them for the 3rd year running for our feedback.
We only install high-quality oil tanks fitted by our Oftec registered staff, who have been with us for many years.
We leave all our domestic customers with a questionnaire they can complete and return to Lancashire County Council, and we have received some excellent feedback over the years, which can be viewed at safetrader.org.uk/total-tanks.
Most of our installations come from recommendations and word of mouth.
