Watchman Sonic Advanced Oil Tank Gauge Information

By using a Watchman Sonic Advanced, you can easily and effortlessly read how much fuel you have remaining in your tank!

The sender fits onto your oil tank and has its own battery power.  The receiver plugs into any standard 3-pin electrical socket up to 200 meters away* from your tank and displays the level of fuel in your oil tank in 10ths.  A red light comes on the attract your attention when the level of fuel in your oil tank is low. Another feature of the gauge is that you can enable ‘alarm mode’. When your fuel level suddenly drops, the wall receiver will emit an audible siren to alert you to the sudden drop. This feature is designed to stop thieves in their tracks. To enable this, simply flick switch 1 into the up (on) position.

The Watchman Sonic Advanced can easily be fitted to most single skin and bunded plastic oil tanks on the market, providing they have a spare 32mm diameter hole. Some tank users may be able to drill a 32mm hole, however, this may void your manufacture’s warranty- it’s best you check with your warranty before drilling any holes.  It can also be fitted onto a steel oil tank but must be positioned a certain distance from any stays inside the tank or it will not work correctly.
